New Owners and Renters
Welcome to Hidden Valley Ranch, an age 55 or older community!
Your new home is located in Hidalgo County and police protection is provided by the Hidalgo County Sheriffs office. Your mailing address city is Mission and the zip code is 78572.
New owners and renters must come to the HVR front office, as soon as practical, to get registered and bring the following documentation:
- Evidence of the ages of ALL owners and occupants residing on the lot.
- Drivers License
- A copy of the recorded deed.
- Only the owners named (Grantees) on the deed will be allowed to vote at membership meetings. (per by-laws)
- Each lot is allowed up to two votes regardless of the number of owners. (per by-laws)
- If your lot is deeded to another family member for estate planning, discuss your situation with the board as this may affect your voting rights in community elections. (Covenants)
- Completed "New Owner Profile" form or "New Renters" form as applicable.
Trash Collection:
- Trash is collected each Monday
- Only trash contained in official Waste Management plastic bags will be picked up.
- Official Waste Management bags are on sale at the front office during normal business hours.
- Your trash collection service is paid for when you purchase your Official Waste Management bags.
- HVR purchases a bulk of Official Waste Management plastic bags and resales them to HVR members for an equal amount of money. HVR does not add any handling fees to the cost.
- Only HVR members may purchase Official Waste Management plastic bags from HVR's front office.

- You must set up your account at the Martin Valley Office located on the HWY 83 Frontage Road just a few blocks away from HVR.
- You will pay for this utility each quarter.

Internet is evolving in HVR. There are 3 services available however not every service is available at every lot. You will have to talk with your neighbors or contact each of the providers to determine who provides service at your lot.
